Charts & Publications
The Unimars Navigation Company, supplying navigation charts and publications to vessels, was established in 1999 based on the Department of Cartography from the Latvian Shipping Company. The company has opened branches in Tallinn and St. Petersburg.
Unimars Navigation is:
- a partner of Thomas Gunn Navigational Services, one of the leading agents of the British Admiralty (UK);
- an official agent for Chart Pilot (Russia);
- the IMO distributor.
Orders can be made at the Unimars Navigation branch offices in Tallinn and St. Petersburg, às well as at all the other Unimars branches.
We provide a full range of services including:
- charts outfit management;
- correction of charts;
- delivery of required charts and publications, incl. the conventional ones.
We offer publications issued by:
- the British Admiralty
- GUNIO (Central Administrative Board of Navigation and Oceanography of the RF Ministry of Defence)
- IMO
- ITU
- ISC/OCIMF
- other organizations.
Unimars has signed discount agreements with courier companies (DHL, TNT), thus our customers can select the most appropriate speed, type and cost of delivery for the charts and publications ordered.
If required, we can deliver an urgent order ourselves on any day and at any time to ships, calling at any of the Baltic States and St Petersburg ports. Through making use of the warehousing capacity of our partner Thomas Gunn Navigational Services, Unimars Navigation can accept and fulfil an order which may be delivered quickly to any port throughout the world.
